Position Summary

We are looking for a

Draftsman

with strong

AutoCAD drafting skills

and a good

engineering aptitude

. The ideal candidate should be able to prepare accurate duct and layout drawings, coordinate with design teams, and assist in documenting and quantifying HVAC-related works. Prior HVAC experience or understanding of system components (like AHUs, ducts, diffusers, and chillers) will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare

HVAC layout plans

,

ducting

, and

coordination drawings

in AutoCAD. Interpret and draft

GA (General Arrangement) drawings

for major HVAC components. Assist engineers in

BOQ preparation

,

heat load calculations

, and

equipment selection

(optional skill). Update and maintain

accurate project drawings and documentation

. Support the

sales and design teams

with quantification and layout support. Participate in client and consultant discussions for design clarifications or approvals.
Skills & Knowledge

Strong command of

AutoCAD 2D drafting

- must have proven hands-on experience. Knowledge of

ducting principles

and

HVAC layout standards

. Good visualization and attention to technical detail. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Basic knowledge of

MS Excel

for BOQ and quantity tracking. Familiarity with

Revit

or 3D modeling -

a plus but not mandatory

. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Education & Experience

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

or

HVAC Drafting

(required).

3+ years experience

in HVAC drafting or mechanical design-related roles. Willingness to

travel up to 50%

, as required for project coordination.
