Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

Design Engineer

with strong expertise in CAD tools and sheet metal design to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in creating 2D/3D models, preparing detailed drawings, and working closely with production teams to ensure accurate execution.

Key Responsibilities

Create and develop

2D and 3D designs

using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Design and modify

sheet metal components

, assemblies, and fabrication drawings. Prepare detailed

engineering drawings

, BOMs, and technical documentation. Collaborate with the production and fabrication teams to understand design feasibility. Ensure designs comply with manufacturing standards, quality, and safety requirements. Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection as required. Support new product development (NPD) and continuous improvement activities. Review and update existing drawings to optimize manufacturing efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

2-3 years of experience

as a Design Engineer in a manufacturing/industrial setup. Strong proficiency in:

AutoCAD

SolidWorks

Sheet Metal Design

2D & 3D Modeling

Good understanding of fabrication processes, machining, and manufacturing techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in product development or customized fabrication. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. Attention to detail and a quality-oriented approach.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
