Education:
Diploma Mechanical / BE Mechanical
Product & Tooling Design
Design and develop suspension components (springs, shock absorbers, control arms, bushings etc.) using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Design assembly tooling and press tooling required for manufacturing suspension components.
Modify and improve existing designs for performance, manufacturability and cost reduction.
Technical Documentation & Drawings
Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings and assembly layouts.
Create BOM (Bill of Materials), GD&T and process flow diagrams.
Maintain revision control and manage drawing documentation as per company standards.
Tooling & Manufacturing Support
Design and validate press tools, jigs, fixtures and assembly tools.
Coordinate with manufacturing team for implementation and troubleshooting.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with Production, Quality and R&D teams for product/tooling improvements.
Support prototype development, testing and validation.
Coordinate with suppliers and customers for design/tooling queries.
