Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings using

SolidWorks

. Perform design calculations and support product development from concept to production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, procurement) to optimize designs. Modify and improve existing designs for cost reduction, performance, and manufacturability. Prepare and maintain

BOMs (Bill of Materials)

, technical documentation, and drawing standards. Conduct tolerance analysis, GD&T application, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Support prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.
Required Skills:

2 years of hands-on experience

in mechanical design using SolidWorks. Knowledge of mechanical components, sheet metal, weldments, and surface modeling. Understanding of

manufacturing processes

(machining, casting, fabrication, Process equipment). Familiarity with

GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and design standards

. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to

FEA/simulation tools

within SolidWorks. Knowledge of materials selection and engineering design practices.
