JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Design Engineer specializing in New

Product Development (NPD) and Standardization. In this role, you will be responsible for

standardization and improvements in the existing equipment's designs, Your work will

ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in product design, reducing variability and

optimizing manufacturing processes. Also, you will be responsible for driving the design

and development of new products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, specifications using CAD software.
Create/review complete Bill of material.
Identify opportunities for standardization in design processes, components, and
materials to reduce complexity and cost.

Continuously seek to improve existing products by applying standardization
principles to enhance performance, reduce costs, and streamline manufacturing

processes.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and standards to ensure products

remain competitive and compliant.

Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, decisions, and changes,
ensuring traceability and compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

Lead the design and development process for new products from concept to
production, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in product design, development,
engineering calculations, and design documentation in a manufacturing

environment, preferably in the rotary and/or static equipment manufacturing

industry.

Candidate should have hands-on experience in Autodesk Inventor 3D software and
AutoCAD, SAP knowledge is preferred for BOM creation.

Candidate should have a knowledge of ASME standards, GD&T and basic
knowledge of FEA.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional

weekend and/or evening work.
