Position Summary:

BRICSPAC India Pvt. Ltd. is currently looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and skilled

Design Engineer

with approximately

1-2 years of relevant industry experience

in mechanical or product design. The successful candidate will play a key role in the conceptualization, design, and development of engineering solutions that meet both functional and manufacturing requirements. This position involves collaboration across multiple departments to ensure that design output aligns with quality, cost, and timeline objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop accurate

3D models

,

2D engineering drawings

, and comprehensive

technical documentation

using industry-standard CAD software such as

SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo

. Analyze existing product designs to identify areas for improvement and implement modifications based on

performance evaluations

,

manufacturing feasibility

, or

testing feedback

. Contribute actively to the

product development lifecycle

, from concept and design through prototyping, validation, and production support. Ensure all designs comply with applicable

functional specifications

,

safety standards

,

cost targets

, and

manufacturing capabilities

. Work collaboratively with internal teams including

production

,

quality assurance

,

procurement

, and

project management

to streamline the transition from design to manufacturing. Execute

basic engineering calculations

tolerance analysis

fit & function assessments

to validate design intent and ensure reliability. Maintain a well-organized archive of design documents, drawings, revisions, and supporting information, ensuring adherence to company standards and document control practices. Participate in

design reviews

, cross-functional meetings, and support

product testing

to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree

or

Diploma

in

Mechanical

,

Production

, or

Industrial Engineering

from a recognized institution. A minimum of

1 year of hands-on experience

in a design engineering role, preferably in a product development or manufacturing environment. Strong command of

2D/3D CAD design software

including

SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo

, or similar platforms. Sound understanding of

Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

,

material selection

, and

various manufacturing techniques

such as machining, casting, or sheet metal fabrication. Ability to interpret and produce

engineering drawings

,

BOMs

, and

technical specifications

with a high level of accuracy. Effective

analytical and problem-solving abilities

, with attention to detail and design efficiency. Excellent

communication and teamwork skills

, with the ability to work both independently and within a cross-functional team.

Desirable (Preferred) Skills:

Experience using

Product Data Management (PDM)

or

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

systems. Knowledge of

international design standards
