Position Summary

Designs components or a system of components to develop or improve existing products while reducing cost, enhancing performance, or facilitating manufacturing operations. Designs products or systems of diverse/difficult scope and complexity for assigned projects

Responsibilities

Design and optimization of mechanical components for filtration products Analysis and specification of products/systems Develops manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards Interfaces with outside vendors for component selection, manufacturing, and assembly Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 4+ years experience Autodesk Inventor, Pro-E, CATIA - CAD Modelling tools Good knowledge of APQP, DFMEA

Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent problem solving and time management skills Proficient in 3D CAD modeling * Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge
