Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Mechanical Design Engineer

with strong expertise in automated and multi-level car parking systems. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for proposal, GAD, development, and production drawings while ensuring compliance with international mechanical standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in R&D, design optimization, and close coordination with production and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare

proposal drawings

for customized mechanical car parking systems based on site constraints and client requirements Conduct

site visits, measurements, and feasibility checks

to ensure accurate and practical design execution Develop

GAD (General Arrangement Drawings)

, development drawings, and detailed production drawings using

AutoCAD and SolidWorks

Perform

research and development (R&D)

for design improvement, material optimization, and new concept development Create

production drawings

with accurate mechanical detailing, tolerances, and material specifications Ensure all designs comply with

IS, ISO, ASME, and DIN standards

, as well as safety regulations Coordinate with

production, installation, and site teams

to ensure smooth fabrication and implementation Manage

drawing revisions, documentation, and project records

as per company quality systems Support prototype development and implement modifications based on client feedback or site conditions Improve designs for

manufacturability, strength, cost efficiency, and safety performance

Single Stacker Parking Systems Cantilever Parking Systems 2-Level, 3-Level & 4-Level Parking Systems (Pit & Above-Ground) Puzzle Parking Systems (Hydraulic - Pit & Above-Ground) Tower Parking Systems

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

mechanical design, fabrication, and assembly processes

Proficiency in

AutoCAD (2D/3D)

and

SolidWorks (3D modelling & assemblies)

Excellent understanding of

mechanical engineering standards and codes

Experience in

design optimization, R&D, and problem-solving

Ability to interpret and execute technical drawings with high accuracy Strong coordination and communication skills across cross-functional teams Detail-oriented with a focus on

quality, innovation, and safety compliance

Educational Qualification

Diploma / Certification in

Mechanical or Civil Drafting / Mechanical Engineering

HSC (Science) preferred

Experience Requirement

Minimum

5+ years of relevant experience

in mechanical design, preferably in the

car parking or material handling systems industry

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?500,000.00 - ?1,200,000.00 per year
