Prototyping:
Oversee the fabrication and testing of prototypes to verify functionality and safety before mass production.
Manufacturing Support:
Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure designs are cost-effective and manufacturable (DFM/DFA).
Documentation:
Maintain technical reports, Bills of Materials (BOM), and design specifications.
Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement design improvements based on test results or field feedback.
Required Skills
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or CATIA) and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Engineering Knowledge:
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, and kinematics.
Soft Skills:
Analytical thinking, complex problem-solving, and effective cross-functional communication.
Qualifications
