Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development
Design valve components and die-cast parts using CAD tools like SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Create innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs.
Work with R&D, production, and quality teams to improve designs.
Technical Oversight
Perform feasibility studies, stress analysis, and tolerance checks.
Ensure designs follow standards such as ASME, API, and ISO.
Review and approve drawings and BOMs.
Process Integration
Coordinate with die-casting teams to optimize molds and casting processes.
Apply DFM/DFA principles for better manufacturability.
Support tooling development and solve casting-related issues.
Project Management
Handle multiple design projects from concept to production.
Prepare design documents, reports, and validation plans.
Guide junior engineers and support team development.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ERP and PLM systems.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
