Mechanical Engineer (Contract - 1 Month)

Location: Mumbai, India

Duration: 1 Month (Full-time Contract)

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer on a short-term contract to assist in the final product development stage of our dental simulator systems. The prototype and all individual parts are ready -- we now need an experienced engineer to assemble, align, and integrate these components into a functional and refined working model.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and integrate pre-manufactured mechanical parts into the prototype. Ensure precise fitting, alignment, and functionality of mechanical assemblies. Identify and troubleshoot any design or fitment issues during assembly. Collaborate with our in-house design and production team to finalize adjustments. Suggest improvements for mechanical stability, usability, and manufacturability. Document assembly process and technical observations for future production reference.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2-5 years of experience in product assembly, prototyping, or mechanical integration (preferably in medical devices, dental equipment, or precision engineering). Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerances, and assembly techniques. Hands-on skills with tools, fixtures, and testing equipment. Ability to work independently and complete tasks within a short timeline.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for minor design adjustments. Knowledge of plastic, metal, and silicone component assembly. Familiarity with medical/dental training models or simulators (added advantage).
