We are looking for a

Mechanical Design Engineer

with 1 to 3 years of experience in

3D modeling and detailed engineering drawing preparation

. The ideal candidate should be proficient in CAD tools and have hands-on experience in the

casting, machining, piping, and valve industry.

You will be responsible for preparing production-ready designs that meet customer and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using

SolidWorks, SolidEdge, and AutoCAD

Prepare

casting and machining drawings

with accurate GD&T and machining symbols Develop

fabrication and piping drawings

for valve and skid-based systems Coordinate with clients and internal teams to understand design requirements Work on BOM preparation, material selection, and revision control Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications (e.g.,

quality norms) Support prototype builds, production releases, and design improvements Maintain design documentation, drawing registers, and backup systems

Key Skills Required:

Proficient in

SolidWorks, SolidEdge, and AutoCAD

Good understanding of

casting, machining, and fabrication drawings

Knowledge of

piping layouts, valves, flanges, and related components

Exposure to industry standards like

ASME, API, and ISO

is a plus Ability to interpret client specifications and convert them into working designs Strong attention to detail and drafting accuracy Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Experience:

Experience in working with clients from

process industries

(steam, oil & gas, chemical, etc.) Familiarity with product lifecycle, from concept to production support

Education Qualification:

Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
