Software Engineer- WiFi Technology

Educational Qualification:

B.E/ B.Tech

Position Description:

Responsible for Architecture, Design, Implementation and managing of 802.11 WLAN solutions for In-Vehicle Cluster systems. Implement and extend features such as AP, STA and P2P and WLAN Security modes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

+ Work Experience in wireless protocols Like Bluetooth and WLAN Modes and standards for automotive domain.
+ Work Experience in network protocol stack design and networking software components(e.g. DHCP, TCP/IP, UDP, Socket Programming, Routing concept, Subnet Concept etc.) and WLAN security.
+ Strong expertise in programming language like C, C++, Java.
+ Working knowledge in Android AOSP, HAL and JNI for Android Automotive. Experience in Linux driver development, system programming.
+ Experience on WLAN device driver and development skills for Qualcomm, Broadcom, Marvel or MediaTek Wi-Fi stack .
+ Good understanding of RF behaviors and characteristics related to WLAN RF design.
+ Sound knowledge of software engineering and quality processes, methodologies, tools
+ Utilization of debugging tools like WPA, Wireshark and Ellisys for Wireless protocol analysis.
+ Familiarity with methodologies such as SaFE Agile and ASPICE.
+ Proficient use of DevOps tools like GitLab, Gerrit, BitBucket and Git.
+ Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle for software, including requirement analysis and functional realization.
+ Ensure clean, well-documented, and efficient code to ensure robustness and maintainability.
+ Perform defect triaging and resolution to maintain the quality of the software.
+ Collaborate with testing teams and cross-functional domains to address feature dependencies and defects.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., UI/UX designers, system engineers) to ensure the application is optimized for both performance and user experience.
+ Collaborate with product teams to integrate customer feedback and new feature requirements.
+ Stay up-to-date with new developments in WLAN technology, incorporating best practices and new features into the product.
+ Perform code reviews and contribute to the development of a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
