Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated

Design Engineer

to join our engineering and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong practical knowledge in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards. This role involves creating, improving, and validating designs that meet performance, safety, and quality requirements, while supporting production and troubleshooting activities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed mechanical designs, assemblies, and components aligned with project requirements. Create and maintain accurate

Bills of Materials (BOMs)

and engineering documentation. Perform

engineering calculations

, simulations, and technical data analysis to validate design concepts. Select appropriate materials and ensure all designs adhere to

mechanical design standards

and industry best practices. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and resolve any design- or process-related issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to optimization of manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot design and production challenges and propose effective, timely solutions. Ensure all designs comply with

safety, reliability, and quality requirements

. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or a related field.

4-5 years of experience

in mechanical design within the machine or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of

machine design, theory of machines, and manufacturing processes

. Good knowledge of

material selection

and mechanical design standards. Proficiency in

AutoCAD and SolidWorks

; experience with other CAD tools is a plus. Ability to develop and manage accurate

BOMs

. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and engineering calculation skills. Strong communication and

team collaboration

abilities. Hands-on experience in

troubleshooting production or design issues

.

Preferred Attributes

Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Knowledge of GD&T, FEA, or product lifecycle management (PLM) systems. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to design optimization.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
