Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled

Design Engineer

with hands-on experience in

PTC Creo

,

plastic component design

,

metal part design

, and

3D harness routing

. The ideal candidate will support new product development, engineering changes, and design optimization while ensuring manufacturability, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Create, modify, and manage

3D models and 2D drawings

using

PTC Creo

. Design and develop

plastic components

with considerations for DFM/DFA, material selection, draft analysis, and tooling feasibility. Design

metal parts

including sheet metal, machined, and fabricated components. Perform

3D harness routing

in Creo, including wire routing, bundle creation, continuity checks, and harness packaging. Ensure designs meet

functional, structural, electrical, and aesthetic

requirements. Conduct

tolerance stack-up analysis

and apply GD&T principles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams--manufacturing, quality, procurement, and R&D--to ensure design feasibility. Participate in

design reviews

, incorporate feedback, and implement engineering changes. Prepare

BOMs, engineering documents, ECNs, and design reports

. Support

prototype development, testing, and validation

activities. Ensure design compliance with

industry standards, safety norms, and company guidelines

.

Required Skills & Qualification

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in

Mechanical Engineering

or a related field.

1 to 4 years

of experience in product design or mechanical design. Proficiency in

PTC Creo

(Part Modelling, Assembly, Drafting). Strong knowledge of

plastic component design

, injection moulding, and material behaviour. Hands-on experience in

metal part design

(sheet metal, machining, and fabrication). Practical experience in

3D harness routing

using Creo or similar tools. Good understanding of

GD&T, DFM, DFA

, and engineering best practices. Ability to read and interpret

engineering drawings and technical specifications

. Excellent

problem-solving, analytical, and communication

skills.
