Key Responsibilities:

Battery Pack Design & Development

Design EV battery packs using SolidWorks (3D modelling, assembly, and 2D drawings). Develop

battery pack architectures

, focusing on cell arrangement, mechanical Enclosure, electrical connectivity, and integration of safety features. Understand and apply functional parameters (voltage, current, energy density) to design efficient and safe battery packs. Lead the

prototype development

process by coordinating with cross-functional teams to build battery pack prototypes and perform electrical and thermal testing. Bus bar Design & Calculation ampacity and thermal resistance of bus bars to prevent overheating and ensure safe, efficient current flow in battery packs. Prepare and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for battery pack components, ensuring proper selection and cost optimization. Apply

DFM (Design for Manufacturability)

principles to ensure that battery pack designs are cost-effective and manufacturable at scale. Continuously evaluate design processes, materials, and components to identify opportunities for

cost reduction

supply chain optimization

Oversee testing and improve designs based on test results for better functionality and durability. Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and 2D/3D modelling. Basic Knowledge on GD&T, DFMEA, PPAP, FEA,

Qualification & Experience:

You have B Tech/BE in Mechanical/Product engineering or comparable study paths * Candidate must have 2-3 years of experience in Product engineering in Li-ion Battery and Battery Management System experience.
