JOB DESCRIPTION

1) Design Engineer 1-2 Years of Experience

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop sheet metal components, assemblies, and products using CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD).? Generate manufacturing-ready drawings and detailed specifications for production.? Apply advanced knowledge of bending, forming, welding, and other relevant sheet metal fabrication processes.? Lead or support new product development (NPD) projects, focusing on manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.? Perform tolerance analysis, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and ensure compliance with industry standards (ANSI, ISO, DFMEA).? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tool rooms, production, and prototyping, to refine designs.? Conduct and support reverse engineering projects as needed.? Assist in tool and die design, support jigs and fixtures design, and provide documentation for assembly and quality control.? Participate in prototyping, product validation, and shop floor support.?

Additional Attributes

Good understanding of project management, documentation, and reporting standards in manufacturing settings.? Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.? Experience in sheet metal design, fabrication processes, and tooling (minimum 1-2 years preferred).? Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).? Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; attention to manufacturing details.? Effective team player with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.?
