Brief Description :

A dynamic person with 4 to 8 years of experience in Industrial Gear Box design and development. The candidate would be expected to understand, create, and draw the Industrial gear box components and accessories in SolidWorks. Good in reading and developing Casting/Forging models and detailed drawings. The candidate should be resourceful in absence of missing data and seek/look for avenues to get them. The candidate should be able to meet weekly/monthly delivery targets (Quality
95% and OTD
98%). Good in DFM/DFA. The candidate should be proficient in GD&T and Tolerance Stackup.

(JD) :

• Proficient in creating complex parts, assemblies, and mechanical drawings in Solidworks.

• Good experience of handling big assemblies(100parts) in SolidWorks

• Experience of working in PLM software\xe2\x80\x99s.

• Good experience of designing Industrial gearbox parts and its accessories.

• Good experience of selection of UNC/NPT/ISO tubes, fittings, and bolts.

• Good in mechanical drawing reading and creation

• Basic understanding of Drafting and design standards ANSI, AGMA etc.

• Good Coordination with internal and external stakeholder for having relevant data and information.

• The candidate\xe2\x80\x99s responsibility will be to come up with the appropriate concepts of design meeting the criteria of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Growth and Cost

• The candidate should take complete responsibility of the work. Accountability of accuracy and on-time delivery will lie solely on him.

• The candidate should be resilient and quick in adopting changing priorities.

Job Specification: (Education, Training and Experience) :

• 4 to 8 years of experience

• Graduate (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech ) in mechanical engineering from reputed institute with min 70% (7 CGPA) marks

• Knowledge of Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing is must.

• Attention to detail is must.

• Good knowledge of industrial gearboxes will be preferred.

• Experience in carrying out design calculation will be an added advantage

• Experience of delivering good quality output on time.

Competencies / Skills:

• Good in planning, time management and execution

• Experience of product development

• Exposure to Manufacturing processes like casting, forging, sheet metals, machining processes / Assembly process etc.

• Good Communication skills, interpersonal skill, team player and collaborative

• A team player should be able to cooperatively work in multi-disciplinary team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Technically sound and self-motivated.
