The main purpose of the role is to support new product engineering activities. This will include design & development of new products, validation by prototype and testing. The job holder will bring his professional expertise and knowledge in all aspects of MV / LV Switchgear.

Prepare micro plan and execute the allocated design activities of NPD projects within specified timeline and budget - measured by Project plan, Budget plan Follow design processes developed by Lucy engineering team and prepare drawings, bill of material using the Lucy PLM & CAD system - measured by number of ECRs, drawing checking tracker To design part and assembly keeping cost to a minimum and without compromising the quality - measured by product cost target Participate in the prototypes to follow the internal/external testing schedules. Witness internal/external testing as required, both in India and abroad - measured by project plan, test results To work in collaboration within NPD team in order to execute the engineering activities - measured by one to one review Preparing the required data to configurator team for feeding to configurator - measured by project plan Participate in the DFMEA considering design failure mode at various stages - measured by project efficiency Preparing design documentation - measured by project efficiency

The position is responsible to execute allocated engineering designs and other related activities which is define through project scope. Working as a individual contributor within the team, who execute all the necessary activities to maintain the requirements mentioned in MRD.

The job holder is also responsible for participation in required internal and external testing mentioned in MRD.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: - Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Mechanical



Minimum Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in MV/LV switchgear background



Job-Specific Skills: Understanding of customer needs, understanding of switchgear products & its applications, Understanding of switchgear product standards and associated testing,




Behavioral Competencies: Positive attitude, Develop and maintain effective relationship with internal & external stakeholders, Good communication skills.
