The company was founded in 1989 by Ir. Herman J Oonk and Ir. William F Jense.
They started manufacturing Pillow Plates by using resistance spot welding. They sold it as a major component of the Falling Film Chiller, and Ice Banks they built as proprietary products. They soon began selling Heat Transfer Panels to manufacturers of storage tanks for the Food and Beverage industry. Company is now one of the largest suppliers of this type of heat transfer surface in Western Europe.
Products are manufactured using the latest available laser welding technology, the most automated laser welding system. The facility consists of two Laser Welding Machines, with capacity to weld up to 2000 mm width and length up to 8000 mm, and a Laser Cutting machine capable of handling matching job length and width. Job Summary
We are looking for a
talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer
to join our dynamic engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge products, components, and systems. Your work will ensure compliance with engineering standards and meet customer expectations for quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed design drawings, 3D models, and specifications using CAD tools
(SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo)
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to bring concepts to reality
Perform simulations, FEA/CFD analysis, and prototyping to validate and optimize designs
Assess design feasibility, performance, and cost-effectiveness
Maintain accurate technical documentation including BOMs, drawings, and revision logs
Revise existing designs to enhance performance or meet new requirements
Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, or related field
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.)
Strong grasp of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes
Hands-on experience with design validation (prototyping, testing, simulation)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
