Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Mechanical Design Engineer

with a strong background in

valve design and engineering drawings

. The ideal candidate should possess 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing industrial valves (gate, globe, ball, check, butterfly, etc.) and a deep understanding of relevant standards and manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop industrial valves in accordance with ISO international standards. Prepare detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar). Create Bill of Materials (BOM), part lists, and design documentation for new and existing products. Perform tolerance analysis, stress analysis, and design calculations. Lead design modification and improvement initiatives based on feedback from production and clients. Review and approve drawings for accuracy, compliance, and functionality. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company guidelines. Participate in design reviews and contribute technical expertise to product development meetings. Provide technical support during prototype development, testing, and field installation.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Batchlor's degree is a plus). 5 to 10 years of experience specifically in valve design and drafting. Proficient in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of valve components, materials, pressure ratings, and manufacturing processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in design and development of special-purpose or customized valves. Exposure to quality systems such as ISO 9001, API Q1.
