Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Design Engineer with a foundational understanding of mechanical design and fabrication drawings. The role focuses on supporting senior designers in 3D modeling, drafting, documentation, and coordination with fabrication and production teams. This position is ideal for candidates eager to learn heavy mechanical systems, structural fabrication, and industrial equipment design.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing 3D models and 2D drawings for fabrication, assembly, and installation Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, sheet metal drawings, and basic assembly drawings Support BOM preparation and updates in MS Excel under guidance Assist in preparing General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) and layout drawings Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to clarify drawings and resolve basic queries Incorporate design corrections and revisions as per senior engineer feedback Maintain proper documentation, drawing revisions, and version control Follow company design standards, safety guidelines, and quality requirements Support data collection for costing, material selection, and design validation

Key Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of mechanical design and fabrication drawings Familiarity with 3D modeling and 2D drafting tools Understanding of sheet metal and fabrication processes (theoretical or internship level) Willingness to learn hydraulic, pneumatic, and combustion systems Good attention to detail and documentation discipline Ability to follow instructions and seek clarification when needed Positive attitude, learning mindset, and teamwork orientation

Experience & Qualification

Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field 0-2 years of experience (freshers with strong internships may apply)

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
