Job Description

Electrical Design & Documentation: Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), control circuit diagrams, and general arrangement (GA) drawings for control panels. Develop wiring drawings, terminal diagrams, and cable schedules. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards (IEC, IS, UL, etc.). Component Selection: Select electrical components such as MCCBs, contactors, relays, PLCs, VFDs, and field devices as per application requirements. Optimize design for cost, efficiency, and reliability. Automation System Design: Design control systems for PLC, HMI, and SCADA-based automation solutions. Coordinate with the software/PLC programming team for I/O mapping and panel integration. Panel Engineering: Design power & control panels (MCC, PCC, PLC, and relay panels). Ensure proper layout for heat dissipation, wiring space, and ease of maintenance. Coordination & Support: Collaborate with the production team during panel assembly and testing. Provide technical support during site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Communicate with clients and vendors for design clarifications and approvals. Documentation & Standards: Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and design documentation for each project. Maintain project design files and ensure revision control.
