Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced

Design Engineer

with a mechanical background to join our product development team. The ideal candidate must have

3-5 years of experience

in

automotive component design

, particularly in

brake and clutch systems

for 4-wheelers. Proficiency in

SolidWorks, Creo, or similar CAD tools

is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop brake and clutch components and assemblies for 4-wheelers Create detailed 2D/3D models, drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) Apply GD&T and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles Ensure compliance with automotive design standards and safety regulations Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D teams to refine designs Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and basic FEA for critical parts Support prototype development and conduct design validation testing Maintain design records, revision control, and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design for automotive components Strong proficiency in

SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD

Knowledge of

braking and clutch mechanisms, friction materials, and actuation systems

Hands-on experience with

GD&T, Tolerance Analysis, and Material Selection

Familiarity with ISO/TS automotive quality standards Good understanding of manufacturing processes like casting, forging, and machining

Preferred Experience:

Experience in designing parts for OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers Exposure to testing and validation of automotive components Working knowledge of FEA tools like ANSYS is an added advantage
