Design sheet metal components including bends, weldments, assemblies, and enclosures.
Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.
Develop and maintain
BOMs
and design documentation.
Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to ensure manufacturability of designs.
Resolve design-related issues during fabrication and assembly stages.
Optimize designs for cost, material usage, and ease of manufacturing.
Support prototype development and trial runs.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety norms, and customer specifications.
Manage drawing revisions and engineering change notes (ECN).
