Key Responsibilities

Create and develop

3D CAD models and 2D drawings

using

Creo

software. Perform detailed design of

sheet metal components

including formability, manufacturability, and tolerance analysis. Design and develop

casting components with complex geometry

, ensuring design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, supply chain) to resolve design challenges. Conduct feasibility studies, tolerance stack-ups, and design validations as per project requirements. Support design modifications, engineering change requests, and continuous product improvements. Maintain design documentation, BOM, and ensure adherence to client standards and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in

Creo Parametric

(part modeling, assemblies, and detailed drafting). Hands-on experience in

Sheet Metal Design

- bends, flanges, flat patterns, forming, and weldments. Solid knowledge of

Casting Design

with complex profiles, shrinkage allowances, and machining considerations. Good understanding of

GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering drawing standards (ASME/ISO).

Knowledge of

manufacturing processes

for sheet metal and casting. Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team. Strong communication and documentation skills.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in

Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Automobile Engineering

or related discipline.
