We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer specialized in Electronics and Electrical Engineering to join our Research and Development (R&D) department. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing electronic systems and components. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into innovative and efficient designs. Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic systems, circuits, and components according to project requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and research to evaluate the technical and economic viability of proposed designs.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to integrate electronic systems into overall product designs.
  • Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation using industry-standard design tools.
  • Prototype and test electronic designs to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot design issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in electronics and electrical engineering to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into designs.
  • Document design specifications, test procedures, and results for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance teams during product development and production phases.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to select components and materials that meet performance, cost, and reliability requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (X years) in electronic circuit design, PCB layout, and simulation.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, signal processing, and power electronics principles.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, embedded systems, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing electronic product design (e.g., EMC, safety standards).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a research and development environment is a plus.
