About the Role

BHEPL is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter/Designer to support our engineering and railway infrastructure projects. The role is open to Mechanical Engineering students, experienced draftsmen, or professionals with railway signalling/layout experience. The candidate will be responsible for preparing 2D/3D CAD drawings, track layouts, signalling schematics, and mechanical designs, supporting our projects in the defence and rail sectors. Key Responsibilities o Create and update CAD drawings for railway track layouts, signalling systems, and mechanical components. o Develop design documentation, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM). o Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure compliance with client and industry standards. o Revise drawings based on review feedback and field requirements. o Maintain drawing accuracy and alignment with Indian Railways / RDSO standards where applicable. Required Skills & Qualifications o Any of the following background

Pursuing / completed B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering o Experienced Railway Signalling/Track Layout Draftsman o Veteran with railway signalling or track design experience o Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent). o Ability to interpret technical drawings, railway layouts, and specifications. o Strong attention to detail and drafting accuracy. Desirable (Bonus) Skills o Knowledge of railway signalling standards and practices (esp. in Indian context). o Familiarity with Indian Railways / RDSO specifications. o Understanding of safety and operational aspects of railway projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
