Role Description: Design Engineer (Roadway Design -Australia Highways) - Design and 3D modelling for Design & Build and Highway projects with proficiency in various Autodesk/Bentley tools /12D as mentioned in Mandatory Technical Skills. Will have to carry out design and production Roadway design, 3D Modelling, CAD production and quantities and should have work experience as Task Manager and should have led project team size of more than 10 at least once on various projects. Experience on projects at various stages \xe2\x80\x93concept, Preliminary, Detailed and construction support. Specific Australia experience is most desirable.
Role Accountabilities:

• The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in managing international projects, particularly in Australia, the Middle East, the US, the UK, and other developed countries.
• They will be responsible for overseeing the entire project life cycle, with a specific focus on tasks related to roadway design.
• Proficiency in preparing and finalizing various roadway-related drawings at different project stages is essential for this role.
• The candidate should have the ability to analyze and comprehend existing condition reports and surveys, aiding in informed decision-making.
• Additionally, they will be responsible for the preparation of design reports and conducting quantity calculations.
• Promoting safety, health, and environmental best practices within the team is a crucial aspect of this role.
• The candidate should also demonstrate effective leadership by managing team performance, mentoring team members, collaborating with other design disciplines, providing technical guidance, and ensuring adherence to AUST ROADS specifications and standards, particularly for Australia Projects.

Mandatory Skills:

• Project Management, Design Management.
• Experience in MS Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Read, write and speaks -English.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education - Graduation - B.Tech/B.E. \xe2\x80\x93 Civil or Post Graduation - M.Tech \xe2\x80\x93 Civil/Transportation.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment.
• Delivered at least four major project for the Australia Lead region in a lead role.
• Strong understanding of AUST ROADS codes
• Achieved/ Started the Chartered or Incorporated Engineer professional status, or equivalent
• Software \xe2\x80\x93 Civil 3D, OpenRoads, 12D, AutoCAD Infraworks and Navisworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English), including technical report writing.
• Should have Project Management experience
• Organized and proactive (self- starter). Knowledge of Programing (LISP,VBA,.Net,C,C++) is added advantage
