Job Description

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing mechanical machines for our diverse range of products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into innovative and efficient mechanical designs. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for designing robust and reliable machines.

Key Responsibility:

Participate in product development projects from concept to production, collaborating with R&D, manufacturing, and testing teams.

Develop and refine mechanical designs, ensuring they meet performance, functionality, and safety requirements.

Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical machines using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Conduct design reviews and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and performance evaluations.

Oversee the prototyping process to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.

Work closely with the testing team to analyse and interpret test results, making design modifications as needed.

Select appropriate materials and components for the mechanical machines, considering factors such as durability, cost, and availability.

Collaborate with suppliers to source quality components and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Utilize simulation and analysis tools to optimize mechanical designs for strength, performance, and efficiency.

Implement design improvements based on feedback and lessons learned from previous projects.

Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and design methodologies.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures in the design and manufacturing process.

Educational Qualification

:

Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, with a focus on designing mechanical machines.

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.

Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Experience with simulation and analysis tools for mechanical design optimization is advantageous.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present design concepts.

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
