will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting electrical systems for
machines, SPMs, and automation equipment
. The role involves electrical schematic design, component selection, coordination with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design
electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
for machines/SPMs.
Select electrical components such as
PLC, VFD, servo drives, sensors, relays, MCCBs, contactors, and power supplies
.
Prepare
BOMs, cable schedules, and technical documentation
.
Ensure compliance with
electrical standards and safety norms
(IEC, IS, CE where applicable).
Coordinate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams during execution.
Support
panel wiring, machine assembly, testing, and commissioning
.
Handle design modifications and provide troubleshooting support during FAT/SAT.
Maintain design documentation and revision control as per company processes.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of
industrial electrical design for machines and automation systems
.
Experience with
PLC-based control systems
and field instrumentation.
Proficiency in
EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical / similar tools
.
Good understanding of
control panels, safety circuits, and industrial standards
.
Ability to interpret customer specifications and convert them into electrical designs.
Strong coordination, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
