Job Purpose

?We are looking for a detail-oriented Design Coordinator to act as the vital link between our external consultants and the on-site execution team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all architectural, structural, and MEP designs are synchronized, technically sound, and delivered to the project site on time to prevent delays.

?Key Responsibilities

?Consultant Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for external Architects, Structural Engineers, MEP, Landscape, and Interior consultants. Schedule and lead coordination meetings to ensure project timelines are met.

?Design Review & Quality Control: Thoroughly check all drawings received from consultants. Identify "clashes" (interdisciplinary conflicts) and provide technical inputs to optimize designs for cost and constructability.

?Drawing Management (GFC): Maintain a meticulous "Drawing Log." Verify, stamp, and issue "Good for Construction" (GFC) drawings to the site project team.

?Revision Control: Ensure that the site team is always working with the latest revisions and that superseded drawings are officially recalled/marked.

?Site Liaison: Visit the project site periodically to ensure the execution aligns with the approved design and to resolve any design-related queries from the site engineers.

?Candidate Qualifications

?Education: B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

?Experience: 2-5 years of experience in the real estate industry or with a leading architectural firm. Experience in the Kolkata residential/commercial market is a plus.

?Technical Skills:

?Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) is mandatory.

?Knowledge of MS Office (Excel & Word) for reporting.

?Ability to read and interpret Structural and MEP drawings (Plumbing, Electrical, Firefighting).

?Soft Skills: Strong follow-up skills, assertive communication, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
