Coordinate between architects, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure seamless integration of design deliverables.
Review design drawings, GFCs, and shop drawings for compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Monitor and track design progress against project schedules; highlight risks and delays with mitigation strategies.
Facilitate design review meetings, issue minutes of meetings (MoMs), and follow up for timely deliverables.
Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, approvals, and building codes during the design process.
Assist in value engineering exercises to optimize cost without compromising design intent or quality.
Maintain a comprehensive design documentation system including drawing logs, revisions, and approvals.
Support the tendering team by providing required design clarifications and inputs.
Liaise with site execution teams to resolve design-related queries and ensure smooth implementation on-site.
Ensure coordination among different disciplines (structural, MEPF, interiors, landscape, etc.) to avoid conflicts and delays.
Provide periodic reports on design status, issues, and resolutions to project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Architecture / Civil Engineering / Interior Design (Master's preferred).
5-10 years of experience in design coordination within the construction, hospitality, real estate, or infrastructure sector.
Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings and standards.
Familiarity with local building codes, approval processes, and statutory norms.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and MS Office tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and manage conflicts effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
