Ensure robust quality outcomes in Ford for new programs by working with Product Development Engineers for robust implementation of

Failure Mode Avoidance

(FMA), including Features and Vehicle Personalization commodities Drive and ensure

Prevent Reccurance Actions

for critical current model issues are implemented for new model programs

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or similar required Masters in Quality or similar desirable Six sigma certification desirable

Lead adherence to corporate Failure Mode Avoidance processes within the PD organization for new programs (Boundary Diagram, p-diagram, DFMEA, PFMEA etc.), including Features and Vehicle personalization. Work with PD Engineers to complete FMA tools Boundary Diagram, p-diagram, DFMEA etc. Track and provide FMA assessment at key milestones to ensure robust program execution. Develop FMA skills of PD teams by developing plan and deliver training to PD Engineers when needed Feed current model issues and lessens learned as inputs to new model programs Drive and ensure AIMS robust closure and prevent recurrence actions are implemented for new model programs based on current model learning by working with relevant teams * For all the above, report out status in various management forums and highlight potential roadblocks; Identify and remove roadblocks in a timely manner
