SECTION III: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Assist manager in the the design and construction process of a building project.
SECTION IV: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE
Assist in site study with design options for feasibility studies.
Work with internal parties especially marketing to come up with Project Brief for consultants to
base upon for their design works.
Manage the design change process to ensure minimal impact to project schedule and minimize
cost impacts as a result of such design change.
Prepare and organize presentation and obtain management approval for various stages of
design development e.g. master plan, schematic design and pre-tender stage
Conduct design audits at various stages to ensure that works on site are carried out based on
original design. This shall include making adjustments for non-practical design to prevent
recurring mistakes.
Standardize good practices in design and detailing for tender drawings and documents of future
projects.
Remain up-to-date with current and trending elements of design, construction, and technology
Innovate and develop new standards, policies, and procedures for architectural as necessary to
minimize costs and maximize efficiency

Education Qualification B.Arch.
Technical & Professional Knowledge required
(What someone NEEDS TO KNOW) Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering or related discipline with 5-8 years of exp of which minimum 3 years'
experience in AutoCAD drafting
Excellent written and oral communication skills along with presentation techniques
Well-versed in Word, Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project and Power Point
Experience required
(What someone NEEDS TO HAVE DONE) Experience with real estarte developers , Should have assissted in minimum 1-2 full projects right from design and approval stage to handover.
