Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented

Design Architect

to lead and contribute to architectural design from concept to execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong design sensibilities, technical proficiency, and the ability to translate client requirements into innovative, functional, and compliant architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities,Design & Concept Development

Develop architectural concepts, design narratives, and visual presentations. Prepare schematic designs, layout plans, elevations, sections, and 3D visualizations. Ensure design intent aligns with client brief, site constraints, budget, and regulations. Conduct design research, feasibility studies, and site analysis.
Technical Coordination

Prepare and review detailed drawings for statutory approvals and construction. Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants. Ensure compliance with local development control regulations (DCR), NBC, fire norms, and accessibility standards. Review shop drawings and material submittals for design conformity.
Client & Stakeholder Interaction

Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders. Incorporate client feedback while maintaining design integrity. Participate in design review meetings and coordination workshops.
Project Support

Support project teams during tendering and execution stages. Assist in value engineering without compromising design quality. Conduct periodic site visits to ensure design intent is implemented correctly. Resolve design-related issues during construction.
Required Skills & Competencies,Design & Creative Skills

Strong architectural design sensibility and spatial planning ability. Proficiency in conceptual design, massing studies, and detailing. Ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and cost.
Technical Skills

Proficient in

AutoCAD

(mandatory). Strong working knowledge of

SketchUp / Revit / Rhino

. Experience with

3D visualization and rendering tools

(Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, Twinmotion, etc.). Familiarity with

Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator

for presentations. Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and detailing.
Regulatory Knowledge

Good understanding of

local building bye-laws, DCR, UDCPR, NBC, fire and environmental norms

. Experience in preparing drawings for statutory approvals is preferred.
Soft Skills

Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple design tasks and deadlines. Collaborative mindset with consultants, clients, and internal teams. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch). Registration with Council of Architecture (COA) preferred. Relevant experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use, or redevelopment projects.
Preferred (Good to Have)

Experience in

society redevelopment / high-rise residential projects

. Exposure to sustainable design practices and green building concepts. Basic understanding of project costing and construction sequencing. Experience working in a design-led architectural practice.
