Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Design & Application Engineer
to join our Global Proposal Engineering team. The role involves
design, customization, and integration
of diesel generator sets for
large-scale data center backup power systems
, covering the full project cycle--from technical proposals to execution documentation. The engineer will ensure compliance with
Tier III/Tier IV uptime standards
, regulatory frameworks, and client specifications across global projects.
Key Responsibilities1. Design & Engineering
Select and configure diesel engines, alternators, control panels, and switchgear as per project requirements.
Design cooling, ventilation, exhaust, fuel, acoustic, and electrical systems with focus on reliability and sustainability.
Perform

Evaluate site-specific conditions (climate, altitude, seismic zones, space constraints) for optimal genset applications.
Implement solutions for
noise, vibration, and emission control
in line with local and international standards.
Knowledge of
electro-mechanical protection systems
for genset installations.
2. Tender & Documentation
Review tender specifications and prepare
compliant technical submissions
.
Develop
Bill of Quantities (BoQ)
for genset supply, accessories, control systems, and installation materials.
Ensure technical proposals align with client requirements and global standards.
Provide technical clarifications and support during bid/tender evaluations.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering.
