Job Title:

Design and Tendering Engineer

Job Summary:

The Design and Tendering Engineer is responsible for preparing technical designs, analyzing project requirements, and managing the tendering process. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution, cost estimation, and proposal preparation in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:Design & Engineering:

Develop and review technical designs, layouts, and specifications based on project requirements. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and client expectations. Collaborate with project teams to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Tendering & Cost Estimation:

Analyze tender documents, drawings, and project scope to prepare accurate cost estimates. Prepare and submit tender documents, including technical proposals, BOQs, and pricing. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations. Ensure timely submission of tenders and compliance with bidding procedures.

Project Coordination & Communication:

Work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to clarify project requirements. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and technical discussions. Support procurement and project teams during the transition from tendering to execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field. years of experience in design, tendering, or project estimation. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software. Experience with tendering processes, contract management, and cost estimation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, BIS). Familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
