The Design and Creative Lead is one of the key positions that sits within the APAC Pursuits family. This position offers a chance to lead and work with a dynamic team of designers and provides a space for you to exercise your creative muscles.

In this role you will oversee the Design team's creative output, as well as establish and uphold high quality standards for client pitch materials aligning them to our brand strategy and guidelines. Your team's efforts will enable JLL to create unforgettable pitches and presentations that impress our clients from the get-go.

You will have the opportunity to implement your creative vision on all our assets across the APAC region. Your creative side will play a big role in enhancing our assets, and in continuously improving the way we engage with our clients.

What this job involves?

1. Lead, motivate and manage a specialist design team dedicated to the Pursuits function, ensuring that the team creates the best-in-class pitch material (predominantly in Powerpoint and Indesign) for our clients.

2. Work with the local and regional APAC Pursuits team to come up with out-of-the-box creative/strategic design concepts for JLL's most significant and strategic pursuits (top 5% of pitches). Work to spearhead initial concepts and the creative vision with key stakeholders, and conceptualize that vision with the design team using appropriate mediums (digital, video, print etc.).

3. Conduct competitor research, generate new design ideas, develop, and execute them in a timely manner.

4. Prioritize and manage the team's workflow. Act as quality controller for work briefed into the team and oversee multiple projects to produce high quality deliverables to agreed deadlines.

5. Periodic reporting to senior management on team utilization and team performance.

6. Lead all designer recruitment, training and development processes.

7. Understand how Pursuits' design needs are evolving and develop individual talents with new skill sets as required.

Sounds like you / To apply you need to be :

1. Bachelor's in any discipline or graphic design field with a significant equivalent experience.

2. 10+ years of relevant experience.

3. Team management experience - supervising and leading a small graphic design team that has the potential to grow considerably in the next few years.

4. Strong creative vision and visual arts skills with high level of proficiency using MS Office Programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and design tools including documents, video, animations and websites (All Adobe Creative Cloud Apps)

5. A passion for technology and effecting change to uproot long-established ways of operating.

6. Prior experience in managing and evolving design teams' processes and governance.

7. Manage senior professionals / stakeholders and their expectations in a high-pressure environment.

8. Excellent English communication skills - both written and verbal.

9. Attention to detail with excellent editing, proof reading and quality control capability.

10. Proactive work style and ability to work in high-pressure situations.

11. A self-starter with strong project management skills. Ability to balance several projects at once, prioritize workload and work to tight deadlines.

12. Adept at working with colleagues to diagnose problems and resolve issues through demonstrating initiative.

13. A background or experience in a professional services environment will be beneficial.

14. Creative agency experience will be a plus.
