Summary:



A Design Admin is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of a design team. This includes managing design projects, coordinating with clients and vendors, scheduling meetings, managing budgets, and providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members. The Design Admin should also possess strong organizational and communication skills and have a deep understanding of design principles and industry trends. They may also be involved in creating and presenting design proposals, developing design strategies, and collaborating with other departments to ensure the successful execution of design projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:



Managing and leading a team of designers and other professionals in the design department. Collaborating with other departments within the organization to ensure that design projects align with overall business goals and objectives. Developing and implementing design strategies that reflect the company's brand and values. Overseeing the design of various marketing and communication materials, such as website designs, brochures, logos, and advertisements. Staying up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and software, and using that knowledge to improve the quality of the organization's designs. Reviewing and approving design work done by other members of the team to ensure it meets the organization's standards. Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of design materials. Managing budgets and resources to ensure the design department operates within its financial constraints. Mentoring and coaching team members to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential. Representing the organization at conferences, meetings, and other events, and promoting the organization's brand and design capabilities.

Requirements:



Education: A bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, or a related field is typically required. Design proficiency: Senior designers should have advanced design skills in one or more areas, such as graphic design, web design, or product design. Project management: They should be able to manage design projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and delivery. They should be skilled at coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, as well as managing timelines and budgets. Leadership: Senior designers should have strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of designers, set goals and expectations, and provide guidance and feedback. Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as senior designers must be able to communicate effectively with both design team members and other stakeholders. Problem-solving: They should be able to identify design challenges and propose creative solutions that align with company objectives and brand standards. Technology skills: Senior designers should be proficient in design software and other technologies and be able to stay up to date with the latest design trends and tools. Interpersonal skills: They should be able to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other team members, and work collaboratively to achieve project goals.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
