This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Lead design and implementation of applications micro-grid controller software
  • Expertise with automation of electrical control systems & integration with controller architecture
  • Participate in shaping proposals for DERMS model based architecture, devops and cybersecurity implementation that bring value to business.
  • Closely follow and learn from the evolution of electrical products for micro-grids and relevant industry standards
  • Provides technical leadership for the team to meet its short and long-term goals. Has sphere of influence at the global ES CoE group level.
  • Evangelizes DERMS product owners and development teams for adoption and usage of the DERMS algorithm library
  • Mentor and coach engineers, technical leaders to share knowledge, tools, resources and experience that will enable his/her staff to keep on top of emerging trends and technical debates to contribute and add value to innovative software,
  • Provide leadership to innovate new differentiating products and services. Lead strategic initiatives to improve the timelines and quality of deliverables. Lead innovation events to shape ideas from the team.
  • Be results oriented and adaptive in a matrix organization.
  • Teach, Mentor and Coach DfX & Agile SCRUM for EIIC engineering community.
  • Drive functional excellence through Continuous improvement using CI methodology.

Qualifications

Requirement:
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Electrical/Computer Science Engineering.
  • Desired: PhD / Master’s Degree in Electronics / Electrical/Computer Science Engineering.
  • Minimum 10-12 years years of embedded systems & controls design experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical leadership role on software architecture/standards/methodologies
  • Minimum 3 years experience of leading talented engineers
  • Proven embedded solution architect skills for electrical systems
  • Expertise in design, implementationand validation of model-based embedded systems
  • Solid experience in the embedded software industry with a proven track record of deploying high quality products
  • Technical leader for globally distributed teams in products or platforms
  • Proven expertise in algorithm design and development
  • Expert knowledge of modeling physical/electrical systems
  • Ability to translate system requirements into software requirements
  • Ability to architect and define a library environment that enables the global usage of DERMS algorithms for the development of advanced, high performance energy resource management systems
  • Solid understanding of software design principles, algorithms, object-oriented design and use of design patterns, interfaces protocols
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements and compliance
  • Act as a technical mentor and expert tech reviewer in domain. Review and approve design proposals based on requirements/statement of work and present to stakeholders/customers
  • Continuously develop and contribute to enhancing the technical capabilities of the teams to provide best in class design in line with present and future business needs
  • Influencing role in the creation of technology road map based on Product/COE Strategy globally and deploy them within the group and build organization’s capabilityaCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the value proposition and quality of the engineering deliverables
