Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their skin and hair conditions.
Diagnosing and treating various dermatological conditions including but not limited to acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and hair loss.
Performing medical procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and minor surgeries when necessary.
Providing personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of patients.
Administering cosmetic procedures including Botox injections, chemical peels, laser treatments, and microdermabrasion.
Monitoring the progress of patients' treatments and adjusting plans accordingly.
Educating patients on proper skincare routines and preventive measures.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed for comprehensive patient care.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in dermatology through continuing education and research.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
Postgraduate specialization (MD or equivalent) in Dermatology.
Valid medical license to practice in India.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a dermatologist, preferably in a clinical setting.
Expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions.
Proficiency in performing various dermatological procedures and treatments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and procedures in simple terms to patients.
Empathetic approach towards patient care and counseling.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
Membership in professional organizations such as the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists (IADVL) is desirable.
