Job Summary . Deputy National Lead - Rewards Job Purpose This is one of the key strategic areas of investment by the company as part of its long-range plan to create a network-based coalition loyalty program to help B2C and D2C businesses to scale their customer engagement and acquisition funnel, in turn create a healthy prospective customer base for Bajaj Finance limited to cross sell its financial product and engage its own customer on open architecture loyalty program. Role requires to lead the key initiatives to build robust Prime loyalty program on scalable open architecture platform. Design and supervise end to end implementation of the Prime loyalty platform and program nuances. Head entire product life cycle and project management to ensure most optimized solution within the given project scope and budgeting. Lead team of product managers to and deliver product vision as set by leadership team. Job Duties & Key Responsibilities . Duties and Responsibilities - Product Development . Lead and Manage team of Product managers who will build Prime subscription fee based premium membership program for onboarding of prospective customer on BFL digital platforms without any requirement of lending or payments relationship using open network/ coalition loyalty frame. . Act as a liaison between business and technology groups to facilitate communication both ways capturing product and feature expectation from business grooming the requirement (What is doable and What\'s not - best practice in rewards from customer standpoint and relevant to industry- BFSI) . Review Business User Stories for the streams assigned Undertake Gap Analysis and prepare Approach Document/ solution documents along with IT . Handling complex ideas and break them down into concise and effective requirements . Interact with marketing team for frontend build of the app- designing Information architecture Wireframes and Visual Designs for respective LOBs. . Ensuring complete coverage with respect to integration document prepared by technology team. . Understand and suggest Data Ecosystem and contributing to Rewards program Data Architecture based on user stories submitted by business. . Generate ideas for product improvement & brainstorm impact with counterparts in Functions and COEs and gauge feasibility with IT team Project Management and control . Guide and groom team to understand collaborate and democratize product requirement and feature list across cross functional stake holders. . Act as principal project manager in logically plotting project key milestone understanding complexity of the requirement and projects and helping team find simplest and cleaner solution for the same. . Co-ordinate and collaborate with technology team to control and eliminate all project impediments. . Control Project over-aging and scope-creeps by reducing iterations for any feature requirements. . Review change requests and develop a control management board along with PMO team. . Budget controlling and alerts for senior management team for any scope changes. Post Product release maintenance and support . Reviewing product market feet user level surveys for post product launch. . Monitoring tech KPIs and funnel performance for Preview and Prime product. . Ensuring data movement as per the workflows and SLAs defined during the development phase. . Highlighting all major gaps during management reviews and maintenance of initial performance dashboard. . Impact analysis for all major changes and bugs and enhancement tasks. . Ensuring seamless recon workflows. . Support ARU team for all performance related bugs. . Optimising product on regular basis to quickly adapt to market response. . Duties and Responsibilities - Internal and External stake holder management . Stakeholder management and Business critical strategy building (Business COE Ops Tech and F&A) associated with 21 Major Business and cross functions listed below 1) Brands and Aggregators for vouchers e-gift cards 2) B2B Merchant Dealer team 3) Credit Cards 4) Two-wheeler financing 5) RCD and DPF 6) CD- Prime and all 7) Service and Ops 8) F&A 9) Legal and Compliances 10) Marketing Tech for One Web 11) PMO 12) Rewards Business development team 13) Technology team External- Star partners (Anchor Loyalty partners Key B2B dealer and brand partnership participating in loyalty program) and Loyalty CRM Vendor. Team development . Participate in recruitment process to identify the right talent for various positions within the team . Establish individual goals for team members on quarterly/ annual basis and regularly review individual performance of the team . Provide guidance and support during project management and offer development opportunities in terms of trainings challenging assignments to the team members to enhance functional and technical knowledge . Identify and create development opportunities for team members to enhance functional knowledge . Ensure next line of leaders are ready for future and people feel sense of accomplishment and growth every time they deliver on their KPIs . Key Decisions / Dimensions - Following decisions are taken by the role: . Acceptance and Rejection of Business use cases based on system capabilities and effort and cost required to develop the product feature. . Sign off on solution and architecture balancing between data sharing and business construct. . Decision on Rewards offer campaign setups - Best practices based on user affordance and B2C mindset. (Consumer company approach and empathy). . Project task prioritization based on management and leadership view. . Allocation of responsibilities and tasks within the team - Product leads and Campaign champs Finalizing Program management KPIs . Collecting signoffs and Go live plan with Anchor partners and retail earn burn partner . Evaluation and selection of partners based on project criticality & partner capabilities is discussed with senior management. . Brands and revenue margin evaluation and decisioning. . Major Challenges - . Changing scope of project by business leads to lot of rework and resource utilization. . Identifying system compatibilities and capabilities w.r.t partner side payment acceptance system. . Tech debt and legacy systems at Partner end and performance related challenges . Clear visibility on data sharing with partner. . Lower levels of understanding on Rewards platform as product and Rewards program as operations within and outside organization requires larger effort in onboarding departments and functions on the same. . To keep tap of changing market trends and build Required Qualifications and Experience . a) Qualifications . Post-graduation in Business and undergrad in CS or Electronics and telecom engineering (BE- BTech) b) Work Experience . Minimum 10 years of experience. Relevant 7 years of experience in consumer Loyalty-Rewards redemption catalogue domain, alliances, and partnership with brands for E-gift card business. . Payment industry Prepaid instrument exposer will be an added advantage. . Experience of 2-3 years in each of the areas- product management, Online Business functions, and Project Management . Thorough understanding of IT systems & consumer facing digital platforms . Detailed Understanding of business processes, operational and financial reporting process. . Working experience on Premium paid digital product subscription, Voucher and gift card Business P&L, client management and forging partnership
