ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interface effectively with patients, attendants, and internal/external customers.
  • Provide operational oversight to hospital functions.
  • Design, implement, and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and administrative rules.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful implementation of NABH and Quality Improvement Programs.
  • Supervise clinical policies and procedures to meet licensing and accrediting requirements.
  • Review and respond to medical reviews, state/local surveys, inspections, and accreditation reports.
  • Represent the hospital in medico-legal matters.
  • Work closely with unit heads to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
  • Lead efforts to ensure availability of trained medical staff.
  • Assist in managing operations within budgeted costs.
  • Have full orientation of the hospital's integrated management system.
  • Stay informed about the hospital's Disaster Management Programme (DMP).
  • Ensure compliance with service quality, environmental, and occupational policies.
  • Follow patient safety policies and resolve treatment-related grievances.
  • Oversee credentialing and privileging of clinicians.
Years of Experience:
  • Preferably with 7 or more years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in AMS / DMS role.
Qualifications:
  • M.B.B.S/BDS
  • Preferably with a Post-Graduation/ PG Diploma in Hospital Administration
