Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities related to Drive Shaft and Wheel Ends systems deliverables, from initial concept through to current production.
Plan and execute works to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets, ensuring compatibility and adherence.
Drive the design and development of Drive Shaft and Wheel Ends systems.
Integrate Drive Shaft and Wheel Ends systems with Chassis Systems, including Suspension, Subframes, Powertrain Mounts, and Wheels & Tyres.
Develop system archetypes and component roadmaps for future vehicle cycle planning.
Create and maintain technical best practice documentation, design manuals, and testing procedures to ensure consistency and robust failure mode avoidance.
Lead all failure mode avoidance activities, commodity planning, design progression, and DVP testing to achieve Final Engineering Sign Off within the required timelines

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
General Requirements
Knowledge on Drive shaft spline selection calculation, Bearing selection Calculation and Seal selection.
Should be proficient in forging, casting and sheet metal parts design and development.
Proficient in Kinematic analysis for Axles and Driveshaft in variant suspension articulation condition and finalize the driveshaft length and travel requirement.
Work with external suppliers to ensure the required materials and components are available for production
Proficiency in homologation requirements both domestic and export vehicles.
Good working knowledge of Catia, Teamcenter.
Good working knowledge of Performance, Durability and NVH attributes their impact on Chassis Systems.
Excellent knowledge of testing and development processes, GD&T, DFM & tooling principles, appreciation for VFM.
