Job Description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Vendor Management
- Development and commercial know-how of
Mechanical Proprietary Components like - Complete Engine Assy, Wheel Rims, Tyres, Engine Exhaust After Treatment System, Sintering Products
(like Bushes, Valve Seats, Tone Wheel), Oil Seal, O-rings, Air Cleaner, Hydraulic Valves, Pump, Locks etc
Technically sound in manufacturing processes of mentioned commodities
New projects Tooling/Capex estimation
Capacity evaluation of suppliers
Floating RFQ, Quote Synthesis, Technical Synthesis closures, DVP closures with suppliers/R&D
Should have good knowledge of vendor database
2. Quality Improvement
Capable enough to coordinate with the supplier and QA team for quality improvement
Monitor Supplier performance to access ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
Co-ordination with SQA team for sample//APQP/PPAP closures
Assessment for new suppliers
