We boldly go.Job Summary:The Project Manager - Plant Room Retrofit is dedicated to serve customers and responsible for planning and overseeing plant room retrofit projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget by ensuring high job site safety and quality fulfillment of contractual obligations for customer satisfaction. The Project Manager plans and allocates project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project implementation and delivery.Principal Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Responsible for all aspects of Job execution planning for ongoing Retrofit Projectsxc2xb7 Perform site surveys, site measurements, attend pre-bid walkthrough if required.xc2xb7 Attend tender clarifications/interview as and when required.xc2xb7 Develop project plan, budget and schedule.xc2xb7 Managing customer escalations and enabling support for effective executionxc2xb7 Functions as the primary interface between the Customer, Vendors, Sub-contractors, and internal expertise within the office and project administration.xc2xb7 Coordinate with Sales/Customer Consultants/management in preparing project proposals, tender submission/clarifications and contractual documents.xc2xb7 Work and coordinate with sales/customer consultants to create quotations and follow up for service retrofit job opportunities to customer.xc2xb7 Track project progress regularly and develop status reports to management.xc2xb7 Handling, guiding the project teams for effective executionxc2xb7 Preparation of Site-reports and submission the same along with Bills to customers.xc2xb7 Ensure projects are performed within/under allocated budget, timelines and according to plans and specification.xc2xb7 Develop cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and productivity.xc2xb7 Source/liaise/negotiate with suppliers and vendors on quotations and requirements.xc2xb7 Compile supplier quotation, assessment of quotations and prepare costing sheet.xc2xb7 Maintain good relationships with subcontractors/vendors/clients.xc2xb7 Maintain estimating logs and unit costs for all projects.xc2xb7 Determine Bill of Quantityxc2xb7 Follow company policies and safety regulations for operational efficiency.xc2xb7 Research and recommend new technologies to carry out project development tasks.xc2xb7 Any other duties as deemed appropriate.Key Competencies and Qualifications:xc2xb7 Bachelor's degree in engineeringxc2xb7 In-Depth knowledge of HVACxc2xb7 Ability to read and understand plans & specifications.xc2xb7 Knowledge of local and industry codes that regulate the HVAC industry.xc2xb7 Microsoft Projectsxc2xb7 Estimating Skillsxc2xb7 Effective negotiator.xc2xb7 Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.xc2xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skillsxc2xb7 Able to work independently and collaborate with multi-functional teams.Min 10+ Years of exp. into projects.B.E/B.Tech in relevent field.xc2xb7 Organizational and time management skillsxc2xb7 Customer focus mindset & Effective HandlingLeadership Competencies:xc2xb7 Passion for leading the changes: Strong desire to challenge the status quo, develop new approaches, make continuous improvement, and inspire/encourage others to do the same to promote changes in terms of Strategy, Business Model, Organization, People, Process, Tools, etc., with the aim to stay competitive for sustainable growth.xc2xb7 Open minded learning agility: Strong professional knowledge and skill sets with agility to learn things fast, deal with ambiguity, open to feedback and go beyond boundaries.xc2xb7 Execution for driving results: Set strategy and build capability foundations to deliver premier performance, including organization, people and process by working on great details and engaging our employees with the clarity of accountability and responsibility.xc2xb7 Include and uplift one another: Embrace differences and value the opinions and contributions of each person and work collaboratively to magnify impact.xc2xb7 Do whats right, always: Demonstrate integrity and ethical behaviour and have the courage to speak up for what is right.We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
