Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Receiving and reviewing test requests from internal customers and discuss test plans, any specific requirements. . Monitoring mounting and dismounting of engines on test beds, dyno shaft alignment. . Monitoring the health of all system utilities and ensuring all utilities are working fine during the test. . Conducting tests on AVL PUMA, result calculation, report generation & delivering the same to customer. . Reviewing test reports to ensure accuracy and quality of data. . Monitoring the assembling and dismantling of engines for analysis purpose. . Field visits to attend problems in Engines. . Providing support to Field testing & Product evaluation lab for engine related issues. . Handling of reference test materials (Calibration/ operational gases) . Troubleshooting of equipment with guidance from manufacturer. . Work allocation to junior staff; monitoring the same and reporting the work status to seniors.

Education Qualification

Diploma / Degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering

General Experience

3-5 Years of experience in Engine Testing, ECU calibration, Performance and emission optimization of TREM IV/TREMV Engines. . Capable to draft Automatic test cycles in PUMA. . Experience in handling of ETAS hardware tools & INCA software. . Experience in acquiring HSDA with KISTLER hardware tools. . Experience in operating AVL & HORIBA devices. . Experience in operating AVL PUMA & Concerto. . Hands on experience in Engine ECU calibration for performance and emission optimization of TREM IV/TREMV Engines

Critical Experience

• TAP documents of ARAI, AIS137, ISO 8178- 8 Mode test cycle, NRSC, NRTC tests . CRS technology, Exhaust after treatment technologies, Diesel Engine and components. . New Product development process, various stages & check lists. . DFEMA, DVP Co- relation & efficacy of DFMEA's
