About this Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solution Owner to lead HR Services workstreams within VOIS. This Deputy Manager-level role is responsible for owning and improving HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management. The individual will collaborate closely with Product Managers and stakeholders, manage product backlogs, and drive innovation using SAFe Agile methodologies. The role is based in India and requires a strong background in HR systems and enterprise-level transformation projects.
What you will do

  • Act as Product Owner for HR Services workstreams including onboarding, offboarding, leavers, and new hires.
  • Own and manage the product backlog with continuous grooming and prioritisation aligned to business goals.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define product vision, roadmap, and delivery timelines.
  • Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure strategic alignment.
  • Apply SAFe Agile practices including Program Increment (PI) planning and backlog exploration.
  • Use JIRA for sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in HR systems and processes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of compliant and business-aligned solutions.
  • Benchmark external best practices and explore new technologies to enhance HR services.

Who you are
  • Proven experience as a Solution Owner or Product Owner in the HR domain.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems and processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and requirement gathering.
  • Proficient in JIRA and SAFe Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Capable of working independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on simplification and value delivery.
  • Holds a background in Computer Science or IT Engineering.
  • Certified in SAFe Agile or equivalent.
  • Experienced with platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar.
  • Exposure to enterprise-level HR transformation projects.
