to handle and support end-to-end life insurance claim processes. The role requires strong analytical abilities, understanding of regulatory guidelines, and hands-on experience in claims assessment, fraud detection, audits, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Assess life insurance claims within assigned approval limits.
Support senior team members in handling complex or doubtful claims.
Coordinate with doctors, vendors, claimants, hubs, and authorities.
Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and internal compliance guidelines.
Prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, reconciliations, and claim statistics.
Identify, investigate, and prevent fraudulent claims.
Review and update SOPs, documentation, and claims processes.
Monitor SLAs and ensure timely service delivery.
Manage customer escalations and provide resolution support.
Participate in UAT, BR documentation, and system improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
Experience in life insurance claims processing
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Knowledge of IRDAI regulations and operational controls
Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency in MIS and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in life insurance operations or claims assessment
Exposure to audits, compliance, and fraud detection
Ability to handle high-volume claim environments
